This is a real image from Mizzou’s Late Night “event” which signifies the first night the team can practice. As you can see their notoriously bad fans showed up in droves.

Late Night at Mizzou
KU Dominates MU in Quiddich Match
The Jayhawks and Tigers met in Lawrence on September 18 to engage in the Harry Potter inspired sport of Quiddich. In an unsurprising result Kansas won the best of 3 matches event 2-0 proving that Kansas dominance of Missouri reaches into the realm of the imaginary as well.
Frank Haith Likes to Party
Former Miami head basketball coach Frank Haith has found himself in hot water in the wake of the “U” scandal involving prominent booster Nevin Shapiro. Among the allegations being made against Haith are that he knew Shapiro paid a Miami recruit $10,000 and that he would frequently visit strip clubs with Shapiro and Miami players.
It is bad timing for Haith as these pictures have surfaced of several of his recruiting “events”.
Mizzou Let’s Down Black Athletes
Riverfront Times: Black Mizzou Hoopsters Graduate Far Less Often Than Their White Counterparts
According to a study of 64 teams in the men’sNCAA Division I Tournament, Mizzou’s black basketball players show a 25 percent graduation rate. For white Mizzou players — a pretty rare breed in the last ten years — the rate was 100 percent.
Between this and all the racial discrimination at Mizzou I’m not really sure why a black athlete would want to play there. Is it really worth it to put up with the constant racial tension if the school isn’t even trying to graduate you?
Mizzou Gets Googled…Again
I can’t tell if Google’s “Did you mean” suggestion is a result of a superior search algorithm or if the search giant can now pull in headlines from the future.
Either way this isn’t the first time that Google gives Mizzou fans information that they don’t want to hear. See also Google Knows Best.
UPDATE 8/20/2011
It looks as if Google DID know the future when generating this suggestion as Frank Haith is now being investigated for his role in allowing a prominent booster to pays recruits under the table while coaching at Miami.
Hitler Reacts to Mizzou’s New Coach
Even Mizzou super fan Hitler can’t stomach the new coaching hire for the men’s basketball team.
Mizzou Can’t Pay Mediocre Coach to Stay
After several season of exciting basketball that lead to less than exciting Win-Loss records Mizzou basketball coach Mike Anderson has announced that he is leaving Mizzou to take the opening at Arkansas. He did this despite the fact that Missouri offered him another pay raise from the contract he signed last year. Apparently he wanted out of Missouri so bad he turned down the new offer and high tailed it out of Columbia.
Wheel of Mizzfortune wallpaper
The Big 12 has never been a fan of Mizzou and were quite disappointed when the Big 10 turned them down flat. With the upcoming Border War game there is no better time to mock their Mizzfortune than with this wallpaper.

Mizzou vs The Law
Even though their disappointing football season has drawn to a close, Mizzou continues to make headlines by adding yet another criminal charge to it’s team’s accomplishments. This time by repeat offender defensive lineman Jimmy Burge.
Burge was arrested following a traffic stop in which an officer noticed the smell of marijuana wafting from Burge’s pickup truck. A subsequent search revealed blast pipes, rolling papers, a grinder, 3 grams of marijuana and a shotgun in Burge’s vehicle. – John Taylor, NBC Sports
Four months ago, Burge was cited for drinking intoxicants while driving a vehicle.
It seems running from the law keeps you shape, but diminishes your chances of ever playing in a BCS bowl.

Another Mediocre Bowl, Another Mediocre Performance
Mizzou gets relegated to yet another mediocre bowl against Iowa, a team that lost 3 in a row and also lost their 3rd receiver and starting running back to suspensions.
In typical fashion Mizzou managed to grab defeat from the jaws of victory by throwing a pick 6 in the waning minutes of the 4th quarter to lose 27-24.
